Vehicle 1: 2023 International towing a box trailer (18-wheeler).

Driver:

Brian Kennedy, 48, from Paradise, TX.

Not injured.

 

Vehicle 2: 2003 Yamaha Motorcycle.

Driver: Deceased.

Dean Cornelius, 30, from Gainesville, TX.

Pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

Description: A preliminary investigation indicated that vehicle 2 was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear of vehicle 1’s trailer. This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available.
