Location: US-287, north of Rhome City Limits.

 

Vehicle 1: 2010 Kia Soul.

Driver 1: Deceased.

Allison Beamon, 52 years of age, from Bridgeport, TX.

Pronounced deceased at the scene.

 

Vehicle 2: 2011 Toyota Tundra.

Driver 2:

Timothy Wallace, 55 years of age, from Decatur, TX.

Transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Medical City Decatur.

 

Description: A preliminary investigation indicated that vehicle 1 was traveling southbound when it veered off the roadway, crossed the median, and struck vehicle 2, ejecting driver 1. This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available.
