Portion of FM 556 reopening today

ATLANTA – A portion of FM 556 in Upshur County that has been closed since last summer is scheduled to reopen today.
A portion of the roadway was closed in July 2024 as the bridge was being replaced at Little Cypress Creek.
East Texas Bridge of Longview was awarded the contract last year with a bid of $3,343,732.
