In addition to its No. 1 ranking for cancer care by U.S. News & World Report, MD Anderson is proud to have maintained a five-star rating in Vizient’s 2024 Quality and Accountability scorecard and to be named the top hospital for oncology in Newsweek’s 2025 World’s Best Specialized Hospitals rankings. The institution also ranks among the world’s best in nursing, earning continual recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition program since 2001. In June, MD Anderson received its sixth consecutive Magnet designation and its first Magnet with Distinction rating, making it one of 26 hospitals worldwide to achieve six or more designations.
“The consistent recognition MD Anderson receives for the quality of compassionate, evidence-based care we provide is an enduring testament to our incredible staff and to those we serve,” Pisters said. “We are deeply appreciative of our tremendous team as well as thousands of friends, community supporters and collaborators, for their dedication to every patient and family member affected by cancer.”
