Feelin’ Cozy šŸ

SUNDAY May 7, 2023

ā€œEveryone can identify with a fragrant garden, the beauty of sunset, with the quiet of nature, a warm and cozy cottage.”

Thomas Kinkaide

The word “cozy” evokes feelings of comfort and contentment like few other words can. Two entertainment venues in this issue evoke those sentiments.

Jackson’s Theatre in Gladewater was originally named The Cozy Theater due to its intimate size and is now sometimes called Jackson’s Cozy Theatre. Read more below about the venue’s ambitious makeover by owner and namesake Jackson Foltyn.

The Cottage Wine Bar in Nacogdoches also delivers quality on a small scale. P.A. Geddie’s review reminds us how good it can feel to find a cozy corner restaurant and enjoy a quiet dinner. — Lisa Tang
