Darkness to Light ✨

SUNDAY December 11, 2022

“The most interesting thing about acting is, when you go to the dark places, that’s a lot of energy. When you go to the happiest places, that’s also a lot of energy.”

Jamie Foxx

The use of abundant light to brighten the night sky this time of year is a centuries-old tradition that brightens our darkest days as the earth completes its journey around the sun.

Glittering displays such as Marshall’s Wonderland of Lights on the Harrison County Courthouse and surrounding square brighten the night. Other events like the Grinch’s Lair at the Anderson County Jail radiate a light-hearted energy that also boosts our spirits and brings hope on days with scarce sunlight.

Find more stories about great places to visit around the region in the County Line eMagazine. Check out the November/December eEdition for information about more great events and visit our calendar and Live Music sections.
