    This was a great podcast. I think the one thing they missed about Hidalgo is that much of Harris county would not agree that she handled the pandemic well. The pandemic was talked about here but really about how emmet would have had a similar problem w the governor over keeping the county closed. The fact of the matter is that in the fight between Lina and the governor, everyone I know in Harris county was on the governor’s side. We didn’t think her position of wanting to stay shut down represented good management. We have NOT forgotten that. She was wrong and he was proven right. She was on tv constantly saying people would be dying in the streets. Never happened. She was wrong. Severely wrong. Lack of real life experience.
