A Different Beat đŸ„

SUNDAY September 18, 2022

“It’s always cool to meet people who can do things that

you have no capacity to do.”

Comedian Kevin James

Inspiration for making a positive impact often comes from people who take a new approach. One story in this issue describes a striking new mural in Mineola that promotes unity and solidarity.

Equally encouraging is the story about Mount Vernon Music’s new season, which opens Sunday, September 25. The first performance titled “Mixed Doubles,” features live music by two couples from the Dallas area similar to MVM founders Mark and Ute Miller. The Millers traveled the world before taking on the mission to support music in our rural region. Read more about their mission HERE and about their upcoming programs in this issue.

The County Line eMagazine and the September/October eEdition offer many more inspirational stories and good news about events around the Upper East Side of Texas. Check out our calendar and Live Music sections for other great cultural events in the region. — Lisa Tang
