Tyler, Texas (March 23, 2022) — UT Health East Texas is expanding neurology services in Tyler with the addition of Allison Hennigan, MD. Dr. Hennigan is a board-certified neurologist who has been in private practice in Tyler since 2012.
“I got into healthcare to help people and alleviate suffering. I think that I have an excellent skill for listening and empathy, where I can put myself into the patient’s position. This helps me work together with them to find the best solution that helps each patient where they are,” Dr. Hennigan said.
Dr. Hennigan earned her Doctor of Medicine from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Hennigan is seeing patients at UT Health East Texas Neurological Institute, a department of UT Health Tyler. For more information, call 903-535-6092.
