Ottawa Police Seize Fuel From Freedom Convoy Protest Site, Make More Arrests | 7 Feb 2022 | Police in Canada’s capital have begun to seize fuel and say they have made multiple arrests after issuing a statement saying that those trying to bring supplies to support the thousands of protesters opposed to COVID-19 mandates and restrictions gathered in the city would be arrested. “IMPORTANT: Anyone attempting to bring material supports (gas, etc.) to the demonstrators could be subject to arrest. Enforcement is underway,” Ottawa police said in a statement on social media on Feb. 6 in the early afternoon. In a statement issued at 9 p.m. local time, police said they have arrested seven people. The arrests were for mischief charges throughout the day. Police also said they had seized multiple vehicles and fuel containers.

Ottawa mayor declares state of emergency as police threaten arrests for bringing gas to Freedom Convoy –Approximately 500 vehicles remain in the Canadian capital | 6 Feb 2022 | Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson declared a state of emergency Sunday afternoon as approximately 500 trucks and vehicles with the “Freedom Convoy” continue to linger in the streets of the Canadian capital to protest vaccine mandates. The declaration came hours after the Ottawa Police threatened to arrest anyone who brings gasoline or other material support to the truckers. “Anyone attempting to bring material supports (gas, etc.) to the demonstrators could be subject to arrest. Enforcement is underway,” the police announced in a tweet emblazoned with “IMPORTANT.” Demonstrators who spoke to Fox News Digital said they were amazed by the outpouring of support from their fellow Canadians. Many have donated fuel, which is an asset in keeping the trucks — and the protest — powered.

Thousands of people show up to support huge Edmonton anti lockdown truck convoy –Thousands of supporters braved a snowstorm to cheer on the truckers and farmers in the noisy spectacle against lockdown restrictions. | 7 Feb 2022 | Dozens of tractors, one school bus, and 10 hay bales joined hundreds of trucks in a convoy near the Alberta legislature grounds on Saturday afternoon in a symphony of honks and freedom. The Edmonton convoy drew truckers from across Alberta and was organized in support of the Ottawa Convoy for Freedom that has settled in for a second week in the nation’s capital. What started as a movement of truckers against vaccine mandates to cross the border has now grown into a nationwide movement to reject vaccine passports, forced masking and other lockdown limits on freedom. The Edmonton convoy and protest, like the one in Ottawa, and the others in cities and towns across the country, was largely peaceful with police intervention only needed for a handful of jaywalkers with Canadian flags on hockey sticks.

Alaska ‘Freedom Convoy’ held in support of Canada truckers’ anti-mandate protests –Alaska Freedom Convoy traveled from Anchorage to Eagle River | 7 Feb 2022 | A truckers’ convoy traveled across Alaska on Sunday to show support for the Canadian “Freedom Convoy” that’s been protesting in the country’s capital of Ottawa for nearly two weeks straight. In an event dubbed the “Alaska Freedom Convoy,” which was organized by Anchorage Assembly member Jamie Allard, more than 100 drivers in trucks and personal vehicles traveled from the parking lot of a sporting goods store in Anchorage to the Eagle River Alaska Lions Club, Anchorage Daily News reported. “We want to support our truckers,” Allard told KTUU. “Without them, we’re not getting our supply. We need to get our supplies here. People need to be recognized for everything we’re doing here in our city.

US truckers slam Facebook for removing page organizing DC freedom convoy: ‘Censorship at its finest’ –Truckers plan to drive from California to Washington, D.C., in protest of vaccine mandates. | American truckers are following Canada’s lead and organizing a protest against vaccine mandates. The U.S. group’s Facebook page, however, was removed early Wednesday in a move that the organizer called “censorship at its finest.” The group, titled “Convoy to D.C. 2022,” acted as a place for truckers to plan and coordinate their trek from California to Washington, D.C. Jeremy Johnson, who set up the Facebook group, said his personal account was also removed, prompting him to contact a civil rights attorney to discuss the next steps. “They like to silence people that speak the truth,” Johnson said of his Facebook ban.

GoFundMe backtracks on redistributing contributions for Canadian truckers, under threat of fraud investigation –Crowdfunding platform says it will automatically refund 10 million in donations | 5 Feb 2022 | Facing a potential fraud investigation by the state of Florida, GoFundMe reversed a decision to redistribute m-ney given by thousands of donors to the Canadian “Freedom Convoy” protesting COVID-19 regulations. On Friday, the crowdfunding platform GoFundMe froze the convoy’s official campaign, claiming law enforcement convinced the company that the convoy had become violent and unlawful. GoFundMe encouraged donors to submit a refund form, and said that any funds not properly returned to donors would be donated to a charity chosen by the Freedom Convoy. Within hours, however, GoFundMe walked back the refund applications, instead announcing it would be refunding donors automatically. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said that he would “investigate” the company, accusing them of fraud.
GoFundMe shuts down Freedom Convoy fundraiser that raised $9 million | 4 Feb 2022 | Canadian truckers will have to find m-ney elsewhere after a fundraiser that raised 9 million for a protest against COVID-19 rules was shut down Friday night. GoFundMe said it took down the page after speaking with law enforcement and claimed that the protesting truckers had broken the website’s terms of service. Though the website said it supports peaceful protests, the site stated the group had violated Term 8, which “prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment.” “Given how this situation has evolved, no further funds will be directly distributed to the Freedom Convoy organizers,” GoFundMe said in a statement… GoFundMe’s decision was criticized on social media.

University That Funds Biden’s Think Tank and Hosts FactCheck dot Org Has Contract With BioNTech, Gets Paid for Vaccine Sales and FDA Approvals | 6 Feb 2022 | Documents obtained by NATIONAL FILE show that the University of Pennsylvania, which hosts and funds Joe Biden’s think tank [“think tank?” LOL! A misnomer if ever there was one] called the Penn Biden Center, directly profits from the sale of Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna Coronavirus vaccines. The University gets more m-ney if more vaccines are sold. The University of Pennsylvania also gets “milestone payments” when the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approves a Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. BioNTech pays the University of Pennsylvania Board of Trustees directly, and the university is protected from civil liability if people try to sue for “bodily injury” or “death” caused by BioNTech vaccines [of which there are hundreds of thousands, truth be told]. BioNTech signed a licensing agreement in 2018 with the University of Pennsylvania, which directly funds the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Even though Coronavirus had not yet broken out [aka created] when the deal was made, the 2018 agreement ensured massive payments for the University of Pennsylvania if its technology ended up getting used in new mRNA-based vaccines. Well, UPenn’s technology did end up getting used in the mRNA-based Coronavirus vaccine produced by Pfizer and BioNTech, and the deal has led to massive revenue for the university. Joe Biden, who was working for the University of Pennsylvania when the deal was made, received more than 900,000 from the University of Pennsylvania in the two years before he ran for president in this past election.

Virginia Supreme Court Rejects Lawsuit Seeking to Reinstate School Mask Mandates | 7 Feb 2022 | The Virginia Supreme Court rejected on Feb. 7 a lawsuit that challenged Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s order barring mask mandates in state schools. The lawsuit was filed in January by a group of parents in Chesapeake against the governor’s mask order, which stipulated that parents should have the right to choose whether their children should wear masks while in class. Youngkin and Attorney General Jason Miyares both described the ruling as a victory for parents in Virginia. According to the Supreme Court ruling, the justices wrote that they have “no opinion on the legality of EO 2” and dismissed the lawsuit on procedural grounds.

Three states set timelines for the end of school mask mandates | 7 Feb 2022 | The Democratic governors of Connecticut, New Jersey and Delaware have set timelines for the end of their states’ school mask mandates in a sign of the receding wave of Covid-19 and the country’s move toward a “new normal.” New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy announced Monday the state’s mask mandate in schools and child care settings will end on March 7. Similarly, Delaware Gov. John Carney announced that the state’s universal indoor mask mandate will end on February 11 and that school mask mandates will expire March 31. And Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont recommended ending the statewide mask mandate in schools and child care centers there, effective February 28, saying further decisions should come from officials at the local level.

Stacey Abrams slammed for maskless pic surrounded by masked kids | 6 Feb 2022 | Democratic star and Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has sparked outrage after tweeting a photo of herself posing indoors with masked-up students — without wearing a mask herself. Abrams, 48, joins many of her Democratic peers including California Gov. Gavin Newsom and San Francisco Mayor London Breed, who have been seen gallivanting indoors without masks despite supporting strict face-covering mandates. The former state minority leader initially tweeted the photo herself at Glennwood Elementary School in Atlanta Friday… Not only were the pictured students wearing masks, but all the adults in the room also appeared to be masked. Abrams’s tweet was later taken down, but users posted pics of the pol answering questions sans mask during a Q&A and posing for more photos without a face covering. Abrams, who is vaccinated, has been a vocal supporter of mask mandates throughout the pandemic.

Preventive Use of Iver Reduced COVID Mortality By 90%, Study Found –A peer-reviewed study published last month found the prophylactic use of iver reduced COVID mortality by 90% among more than 223,000 study participants in a town in Southern Brazil. | 7 Feb 2022 | A peer-reviewed study published last month found the prophylactic use of iver reduced COVID mortality by 90% among more than 223,000 study participants in a town in Southern Brazil. The study, published in the Cureus Journal of Medical Science, also found a 44% reduction in COVID cases among those who took the re-purposed drug. Between July 7, 2020, and Dec. 2, 2020, all residents of Itajai were offered iver. Approximately 3.7% of iver users contracted COVID during the trial period, compared with 6.6% of residents who didn’t take the drug. Based on the results, Dr. Flavio Cadegiani, one of the study’s lead authors, said, “Iver must be considered as an option, particularly during outbreaks.” Dr. Pierre Kory told The Epoch Times the results of the study “should convince any naysayer. What they found was astounding.” [Gee, looks like the “horse dewormer” worked after all.]

Russia slams US false flag claim –The allegations are reminiscent of fake claims in 2003 that Iraq had biological weapons, Moscow’s Washington embassy says | 4 Feb 2022 | America’s accusation that Moscow is planning to stage a false flag incident in Ukraine is reminiscent of the US bogus claims that Iraq was in possession of weapons of mass destruction in 2003, the Russian Embassy in Washington said on Friday. Writing on Facebook, a statement from the diplomats called the suggestions “creative,” and “typical” of the US. On Thursday, the Pentagon claimed the US had received information that Moscow is planning to stage “a fake attack by Ukrainian military or intelligence forces” against “Russian sovereign territory” or “Russian-speaking people,” as a pretext for invasion. However, according to Russian diplomats in Washington, this accusation is a complete lie and is a fabrication on the same level as America’s claims before it invaded Iraq in 2003. “This is typical of the United States. The international community remembers the forgeries the USA used for their military interventions around the world, including the well-known vial of Colin Powell,” the embassy statement said. [Exactly. Remember, for example, the “gas attacks” blamed on Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, when in reality they were carried out by the NATO-backed White Helmets?]

China and Russia unveil plan for new world order | 5 Feb 2022 | China and Russia have outlined a vision of international relations anchored in their potential to reinforce each other in disputes with the United States and its allies while cooperating on an array of economic and diplomatic fronts. Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a joint statement that forecast the “transformation of the global governance architecture and world order.” And that transformation would be marked by the progress of concepts and initiatives that Moscow and Beijing conceived separately, often in opposition to the U.S. and its Western allies, and now could develop into an integrated challenge to American power… Putin and Xi made an effort to occupy the rhetorical position held by Western leaders who have touted the value of the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, and other multilateral institutions collectively described as “the post-war world order.

IRS abandons plans to subject website users to facial recognition | 7 Feb 2022 | The IRS said Monday that it is abandoning its push to use facial recognition technology on taxpayers after massive bipartisan pushback from senior lawmakers, who called the idea a disaster for privacy and security. Agency officials said the move was intended to weed out scammers to protect taxpayers who wanted to look at their records. But the IRS’s record of computer problems and the involvement of a third party to run the service left Democrats and Republicans fuming.

RNC Censures Cheney, Kinzinger for Their Role on Jan. 6 Committee | 4 Jan 2022 | The Republican National Committee (RNC) advanced a resolution on Thursday that would censure Reps. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) for their roles on the controversial House Jan. 6 Committee. The resolution would officially strip Cheney and Kinzinger of the support of the GOP and would take away their recognition as members of the Republican Party by the RNC. “The primary mission of the Republican Party is to elect Republicans who support the United States Constitution and share our values,” the RNC resolution said. “The Conference must not be sabotaged by Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger who have demonstrated, with actions and words, that they support Democrat efforts to destroy President [Donald] Trump more than they support winning back a Republican majority in 2022,” it said further down.

Why Airbnb Banned Me (and My Hubby, Too!) By Michelle Malkin | 1 Feb 2022 | (Opinion) So here is the grim reality of life in Woke America 2022. In November, I spoke at a peaceful conference held by an organization that is deemed a “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center and Anti-Defamation League. The title of my talk was “Race, Immigration, and Con. Inc: How I Came to See the Light.” …A week after my talk, San Francisco-based Airbnb notified me that I was banned from using its services ever again and imperiously deleted my account. Poof! “My name’s Cedar, and I’m with Airbnb’s Trust team,” the Nov. 24, 2021, email began. “It has come to our attention that you were a keynote speaker for the 2021 American Renaissance Conference earlier this month in Tennessee. Airbnb’s community policies prohibit people who are members of or actively associate with known hate groups. Due to your promotion and participation in a known white nationalist and white supremacist conference, we have determined that we will remove your account from Airbnb…” Airbnb’s ideological witch hunts have claimed an unknown number of victims since 2016 as part of a woke company initiative to root out “bias” and expel anyone deemed an “extremist” with a “dangerous organization affiliation.

Pelosi Congress Claims Sovereign Immunity in Federal Court to Keep Secret January 6 Videos and Emails | 1 Feb 2022 | Judicial Watch announced that it filed an opposition to the U.S. Capitol Police’s (USCP) effort to shut down Judicial Watch’s federal lawsuit for January 6 videos and emails. Through its police department, Congress argues that the videos and emails are not public records, there is no public interest in their release, and “sovereign immunity” prevents citizens from suing for their release. Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit under the common law right of access after the Capitol Police refused to provide any records in response to a January 21, 2021, request (Judicial Watch v. United States Capitol Police (No. 1:21-cv-00401))… Congress exempts itself from the Freedom of Information Act. Judicial Watch, therefore, brought its lawsuit under the common law right of access to public records.

Dutch Reporter Dragged Away By Chinese Security on Live TV While Covering Beijing Winter Olympics | 4 Feb 2022 | The much-anticipated Winter Olympics in Beijing got off to an awkward start as a member of the local security forces wearing a red armband accosted and pushed a Dutch reporter who was attempting to report on the event. In a clip of the incident aired by the Dutch broadcaster NOS on Twitter that quickly received thousands of likes and re-tweets, viewers can see NOS reporter Sjoerd den Daas standing in front of a busy street and overpass while delivering his commentary into a microphone when the guard moves up without warning and begins yelling and pushing him aggressively. Den Daas tries to ignore the guard and carry on with his reportage, his gaze alternating between the camera and the increasingly menacing guard, until the camera cuts away.
