Jarvis Christian College is enrolling students for Summer School 2010. Two summer sessions will offer both online and classroom courses. Summer school offerings will vary from General Education core courses to major courses that students will need to fulfill graduation requirements. Summer 1 will be held May 10 - June 4 and Summer 2 will be held June 14 - July 9.
Completion of the enrollment process is required prior to taking classes. All students are required to complete the FAFSA form and take the ACT or SAT prior to enrolling. All required documentation must be received in the Office of Admissions and Office of Financial Aid prior to registering for classes.
Enrollment documents can be found at
www.jarvis.edu. Students may print and fax or mail the materials back to the Office of Recruitment and Admissions. The priority deadline for submitting the application, required fees and FAFSA form is April 15 for Summer I and May 15 for Summer II.
Seating is limited and registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
First-time freshman students are encouraged to enroll in the Advanced Summer Enrichment Program (ASEP) program. The ASEP program is a four-week program that provides the opportunity for incoming students to get a head start on their freshmen experience and to earn six semester hours of college credit.
Students will become acclimated to campus life at Jarvis Christian College, gain access to student support initiatives, build relationships with students, faculty and staff and gain firsthand experience and knowledge of what it takes to be a successful college student. Instruction and tutoring are an integral part of this summer program.
The ASEP program will begin on June 14 and end on July 9.
The ASEP Orientation will be held on Saturday, June 12.
Prospective students are encouraged to enroll in the program prior to enrolling for the
fall semester to become familiar with the campus and to experience the excitement of college life.
Enrolling in ASEP affords a student the ability to have fewer classes during the regular semester. The priority deadline for submitting the application, fees and FAFSA form for ASEP is May 15.
