DALLAS — Children’s Cancer Fund will host its 22nd Annual Beyond the Rainbow Luncheon and Fashion Show, on Friday, April 23, in the Chantilly Ballroom of the Hilton Anatole Hotel to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

“We are proud to announce that there will be three billboards to advertise our upcoming luncheon and fashion show,” said Camille Mauritzen, Event Coordinator for Children’s Cancer Fund.

The three billboards feature Honorary Co-Chairs Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach along with calendar artists Jameka Woodberry of Dallas, Ivana Vachha of McKinney and Allison Wright of Gilmer. The billboards are made possible by the generosity of CBS Outdoor, who donated the three spaces, and Everitt Company who provided the design for each sign. The billboards can be viewed from March 29- April 24.

The billboard featuring Allison Wright of Gilmer is located East bound on I-30 – West of Beckley – from, the western suburbs.

In addition to producing artwork for the calendar, these “calendar artists” will participate in the fashion show as first-time models, walking the runway with celebrity escorts and sponsors.

Dallas “calendar artist” Allison, 8, is the daughter of Cheryl and Claud Wright. She has four sisters and attends Gilmer Elementary. Allison is diagnosed with Brain Astrocytoma.

On the weekends, Allison likes to go to the park and do arts and crafts with her sisters. Her hobbies include crafting, listening to music and soccer. Her favorite subjects in school are math and science. When she grows up she would like to be a nurse or maybe a chef.

She is excited about the Fashion Show because it gives her the opportunity to dress up, meet famous people, and help raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Tickets for the 22nd Annual Beyond the Rainbow Luncheon and Fashion Show are $150 per person or $1,250 per table of ten. For reservations and more information, readers can contact Children’s Cancer Fund at 972-664-1450 or visit www.childrenscancerfund.net.
