Kinne earns honorable mention honors from the College Football Performance Awards

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa’s G.J. Kinne was named Honorable Mention Quarterback Performer of the Week as announced by the College Football Performance Awards. It is the second time this season that Kinne has earned honorable mentions honors from the CFPA.

Kinne completed 12-of-15 passes for 264 yards and four touchdowns, and led the Hurricane in rushing with 58 yards on five rushing attempts. It is the third time this season that Kinne has led the team in passing and rushing.

The College Football Performance Awards eliminate the politics and bias involved in the college football awards process. The CFPA selects recipients exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
