Two sentenced in District Court

Two men were sentenced in 115th District Court Friday after entering guilty pleas to various charges.

Judge Lauren Parish presided.

Bryan O’Keith Wesley, 21, Gladewater pleaded guilty to three charges, burglary of a building, a state jail felony, for which he recieved 18 months in a state jail; burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony, for which he received five years in prison; and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony, for which he received 18 months. The sentences are to run concurrently.

Assistant Upshur County District Attorney Edward Choy was prosecutor, and Jon Curtis was defense attorney.

Roberto Bravo Torres, 43, Gilmer, pleaded guilty to indecency with a child, a second-degree felony. He got seven years in prison.

Choy was prosecutor and Matthew Patton was defense attorney.
