PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of East Mountain has approved and adopted Ordinance #200 with the purpose of licensing, permitting and regulating the operations of game rooms and amusement redemption devices, to provide operational regulations for such game rooms; providing for exceptions; providing for a penalty; and providing for an effective date. Whereas, East Mountain City Council desires to license and regulate game rooms and amusement redemption machines to prevent illegal operations of same in the interest of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of both citizens and visitors to East Mountain; and Whereas, the City Council finds it in the public interest to adopt regulations and permits for game rooms and amusement redemption machines.

NOTICE TO BID

Sealed Bids, addressed to Transet Company, for the project named Ore City Band Hall Additions & Improvements, in accordance with Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents adopted by the Ore City Independent School District, will be received by email, mail, fax, or in-person to Transet Company, Attn: Chris Tucker, no later than Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. All mailed bids must be clearly marked BID for Ore City Band Hall Additions & Improvements. Thereafter, bids will be privately opened and a bid tabulation will be made, post-bid conferences conducted, and recommendations presented to the Owner for consideration in awarding contracts. Any bids received after the closing time of 2:00 P.M. will be returned unopened. Ore City Independent School District is receiving construction bids for the additions and improvements to the Ore City Band Hall. Successful bidders will contract directly with the Construction Manager. The Owner and/or Construction Manager reserves the right to accept or reject any individual bid or any combination of bids proposed, whichever shall be in the Owner’s best interest. Physical copies of the bid documents may be purchased from Wolf Prints, Longview, TX, or by request to the Construction Manager. Bid documents may also be reviewed at the Office of the Architect or at the Administration Building of Ore City ISD. A link to digital PDF files is also available by specific request to the Office of the Architect, 1100 Judson Road, Suite 620, Longview, Texas 75601 (903-236-3771), or by request to the Construction Manager. All Copies of any portion of the contract documents shall remain the property of the Architect no matter how secured and shall be returned to the Architect immediately after the Bid Date. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. local time on the twenty-first (21) day of March, 2019 in the Board Room of the Ore City ISD Administration Building, located at 100 Rebel Road, Ore City, Texas 75683. This is not a mandatory conference but subcontractors as well as suppliers are invited to attend.
