Gilmer ISD will receive sealed written bids at the Gilmer ISD Administration Office, 500 South Trinity Street, Gilmer, Texas, 75644 until 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from parties wishing to purchase, for cash, the following district owned property: Parcel #1 - 4.76 acres out of a 492-acre tract with highway frontage located on the west side of HWY 271 North. This parcel includes a 25,200 square foot enclosed metal barn and a covered, two-sided pole barn. Parcel #2 - 1.241 acres with highway frontage located on the west side of HWY 271 North and adjoining Parcel #1. This parcel includes a 1,161 square foot building currently serving as a yard maintenance building. Bids may be submitted for Parcel #1 and Parcel # 2 individually or collectively for both parcels. Please specify when submitting bids which property or properties you are bidding on. Both properties are southwest of the intersection of HWY 271 and Lantana Road. Gilmer Independent School District will hold a public meeting at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, October 16, 2017, in the Board Room at the District Administration Building located at 500 South Trinity Street, Gilmer, Texas. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Gilmer ISD’s rating on the state’s financial accountability system. The public is invited to attend.

The Upshur County Shared Service Arrangement Management Board (“UCSSA”) hereby serves notice that it will accept sealed bids for the following real property and all improvements to the property:


Masonry and metallic multi-use facility on 0.9790 Acres which is located at 1276 FM 49 in Gilmer, Texas. It has approximately 7,930 square feet of building area which is owned by The Upshur County Shared Service Arrangement. The property will be conveyed subject to the exceptions and reservations contained in the Bid Package, including the reservation and exception that is a conveyance of the surface only. Union Grove Independent School District Public Meeting Notice

The Union Grove ISD will review the School F.I.R.S.T. (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) report from the Texas Education Agency during a regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, October 9th, 2017, in the high school library. Administrators will be available to answer any questions. Interested school patrons are encouraged to attend.
