The U.S. Constitution holds the key for saving our nation.

For the past 100 years the leaders of our country seem to think the citizens are better off when there is someone to tell them what to do and how to do it. They seem to believe that we need regulations and laws that slowly remove our liberties and freedoms. Both Republican and Democrat leaders seem to think the people are not smart enough and should be controlled.

The fifth article of this U.S. Constitution gives the people the right to amend the supreme law of the land. We can rein in the power of this corrupt government, apply term limits to the elected and non-elected officials (i.e., Supreme Court Justices) and demand a balanced budget without raising taxes.

When 34 States apply for an amending convention for the same purpose, the Congress has no choice; they must call for a states controlled amending convention. The Congress has no say in anything past that. The states control the subject, the delegates and what amendments to propose. Once the amendments are proposed, they go to all the states for ratification where it takes 38 states to ratify any amendment(s).
