Ore City Fun Festival to be held on Friday, July 4

Ore City’s annual Fourth of July Fun Festival will get underway at 9 a.m. Friday, July 4, with a patriotic parade in downtown Ore City. This year’s Grand Marshal is Frank Breazeale.

Following the parade opening ceremonies will be held at the Gospel Arbor at 9:30 a.m.

Gospel singing, games for adults and children will begin at 10 a.m. An antique car show will be held from 10 a.m. to noon next to Security State Bank.

The country group “Messin’ Around” will perform from 8 until midnight, with a break at 10 p.m. for a fireworks show.
