Gilmer experienced their first ever rock and metal concert on Friday the 13th at the Yamboree Exhibit Building. Featured were Gilmer’s own Angels Fate which consists of Marie Russell, Darrell Cook, Dennis Miller, and Roland Lopez and Crimson Thirst which consists of Jeff Ward, Gary Ward, Jonny Jobe, Drew Emory and Myke Wilkerson. Fans enjoyed plenty of classic rock and metal plus many originals written by the bands. Both bands put on a great performance and took time to take photos with the fans and visit with everyone after the show. This event was sponsored by the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce.
