Superpowers to Soar at Regional
Curriculum Conference June 11-12
WHO: Region 7 ESC’s Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment department is hosting its fourth annual regional curriculum conference for area district/charter school administrators and teachers, which is themed “I Teach! What’s Your Superpower.” Administrators and teachers will attend from districts and charters throughout the Region 7 service area. WHAT:This two-day conference will feature more than 50 sessions covering a variety of innovative, engaging topics focused on student-centered learning. Area administrators and teachers, as well as other leaders in education and technology, will present on popular topics including technology integration, how to “flip” a classroom, motivating students, writing and much more. Media will have good opportunity for engaging video/photographs. WHY: During the summer months, Region 7 ESC provides a variety of conferences and summits
for area educators so that they may receive quality training and obtain professional development credit hours. This is a unique opportunity for East Texas area educators to learn from and interact with fellow educators from their region, as many of the presenters are Region 7 area educators.
