Gardening class will be offered June 10 by KC Agriculture Department, Gregg County AgriLife Extension Office

Kilgore College Agriculture Department and the Gregg County AgriLife Extension Office will host a gardening class 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the KC Demonstration Farm in Overton.

 

The farm’s address is 2211 Hwy 135 East, Overton, TX 75684.

 

This class,” Key Tips on Gardening: Turn your Brown Thumb into a Green Thumb!” will cover simple tips for beginning a garden including how to support plants, scouting for insects and disease and how to take a soil sample.

 

Students may bring a soil sample from their yard to be tested.

 

The cost for the class is $10 and space is limited to 20 students.  Payment is due at the time of class.
