Free Intensive College Readiness Program set for June 2 to July 25

 

Kilgore College will host its annual Adult Education Summer Intensive College Readiness Program beginning June 2 to help prepare students for success in college.

 

The IRC Program will run through July 25 and all classes will be held at KC—Longview Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

 

The purpose of the program is to improve TSI scores for college entrance and to prepare students to be successful once they enter college.

 

The classes are for anyone who wants to begin their college career that have a GED but has never attended college or high school graduates from three or more years ago.

 

Students will receive instruction in math, reading, writing, career mapping, college knowledge (including registering for college and completing the application for financial aid) and computer skills.
