Gilmer Independent School District is accepting proposals to select a qualified licensed vendor to provide the following:
Electrical and Lighting Services
The services include but are not limited to: (1) Add power to existing light poles on East side of Buckeye Stadium. (2) Replace wires and add kellum hangers on the light poles on East side of Buckeye Stadium. (3) Replace all light bulbs, ballasts and capacitors on the four main stadium light poles (including walking lights.) Considerations: (1) Gilmer ISD will be responsible for providing bulbs, ballasts and capacitors. (2) SWEPCO will be providing 200 Amp service to the East side of Buckeye stadium. ORDINANCE NO. 14-020
An ordinance amending Section 86-113 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Gilmer, Texas by making it unlawful for any person to drive any automobile, motor scooter, or any type of motor vehicle in excess of 20 miles per hour on South Bradford Street from its intersection with Warren Street on the south to its intersection with Harrison Street on the north. Any person who shall violate this ordinance shall be liable to a fine not to exceed $500.00.
ORDINANCE NO. 14-021
An ordinance creating a three-way stop at the intersection of Bradford Street and Warren Street. Stop signs shall be installed as follows: 1. On Bradford Street at its intersection with Warren Street. 2. On Warren Street at its intersection with Bradford Street – traveling west. 3. On Warren Street at its intersection with Bradford Street – traveling east. Any person who shall violate this ordinance shall be liable to a fine not to exceed $500.00.
