The Gilmer Stars Officers competed on March 1 at the American Drill Team Competition held at Duncanville High School.

Awards included: Sweepstakes (1 rating on 3 routines) Gussie Nell Davis Award (90 score or above on all 3 routines) Judge’s Award in Jazz, Best Overall Choreography, Best Overall Precision and 2nd Runner Up (small school division); Cara Davidson, 1st Runner-Up Solo Competion.

The Stars drill team has scheduled their annual spring show.

The theme this year is Broadway. The show will be May 2 and 3 (Friday and Saturday) at 7 each night at the Gilmer Civic Center.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students age 3-12. Plan on attending, it is a fantastic show full of entertainment.
