IRS to auction Oil Paintings

 

HOUSTON – The Internal Revenue Service will hold a public auction of original oil paintings seized for nonpayment of internal revenue taxes in Farmer’s Branch, Texas on Jan. 29.

 

IRS will auction 13 original oil paintings by artist Robert C DeLeon ranging in size from 9x12 to 48x60 inches. 

 

The auction will be at the IRS office at 4050 Alpha Road, Room 909, Farmers Branch, Texas. All paintings can be previewed, from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 28 at this location. Bidder registration begins and items can be viewed at 9 a.m. before the auction begins at 10:00 a.m. The minimum bid is $9,600.
