A general election and special election will be held on May 9 at Gilmer City Hall to elect mayor and councilmembers from Districts II and III for 2-year terms and councilmember-at-large for a 1-year unexpired term.

Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday (Monday-Friday) at Gilmer City Hall, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., beginning on April 27 and continuing through May 1; with extended hours on Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Applications for ballot by mail must be received no later than 4 p.m. on May 1 in the office of Kathy Davidson, early voting clerk, P.O. Box 760, Gilmer TX 75644.
