NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Outstanding Stephen F. Austin State University donors and faculty members will be honored during the 25th annual SFA Gala on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Grand Ballroom of the Baker Pattillo Student Center.
“We are very excited about plans for the Gala, which promises to be especially memorable this year as we continue to celebrate SFA’s 90th anniversary,” said Jill Still, vice president for university advancement. “We look forward to paying special tribute to some of the university’s most generous donors and recognizing the accomplishments of two outstanding SFA faculty members.”
The Gala cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a candlelight dinner at 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Blind Date, featuring seven of Austin’s most accomplished musicians. Known for its versatile repertoire, the group performs everything from dance music to rock, jazz, country and hip-hop.
