Rangerettes will present ‘Christmas in K-Town’ Dec. 8

The Rangerettes will host their third-annual Christmas show on Sunday, Dec. 8, in Dodson Auditorium.

 

The one-day-only show, “The Rangerette Christmas Extravaganza: Christmas in K-Town,” will feature the world-famous Rangerettes and several local dance groups. 

 

Two shows will be held at 2 and 5 p.m. All seating is reserved. 

 

Tickets are $10 and will be on sale at the Rangerette Box Office 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 20-22, Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 2-7.

 

The box office is located on the first floor of the Rangerette Gym on the Kilgore campus.

 

Remaining tickets will be sold at the door 45 minutes prior to each show.

 

Local dance groups featured in the show include the Kilgore High School Hi-Steppers, Elite Dance Center, In-Step Dance Co., Jazz Technique by Tempe and Tap ‘N’ Toe Dance Studio.

‘Rettes will participate in McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago Nov. 28

 

The Rangerettes will travel to Chicago to perform in the McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade Thursday, Nov. 28.

 

The parade will be televised on WGN America from 8 to 11 a.m. which is available for viewing in 75 million households.

They will march in the parade, stopping to perform their traditional high-kick routine “with a holiday twist.”

 

Select members of the Rangerettes will also be featured performers at the Dallas Crystal Charity Ball on Saturday, Dec. 7, performing a novelty-style tap and jazz routine.

 

Locally, the Rangerettes will also participate in the Kilgore, White Oak, Gladewater and Overton Christmas parades.
