Six students inducted into KC’s inaugural National Technical Honor Society

 

Kilgore College inducted six new members into its first chapter of the National Technical Honor Society on Nov. 18 at KC—Longview.

 

Inductees met the standards of a minimum grade point average of 3.5 and enrollment in a workforce program at the college. 

 

The NTHS, established in 1984, has 3,400 member schools and colleges in the United States and abroad.

 

The Society seeks to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, enhance career opportunities and help colleges build and maintain active partnerships with local business and industry.

Kilgore: Cotina VanLove Dotrey and Hans William Schleimer

Longview: Vanesa Denise Blackshire and Lekitha Shera Stephenson
