The fundraiser will be known as the Gilmer Buckeye Annual Alumni Golf Tournament and will benefit four organizations in the inception year of 2014. First year proceeds will be divided equally between Upshur County Crime Stoppers, the Child Advocacy Center of Upshur County, the Matt Camp Scholarship Fund, and the Gilmer Buckeye Booster Club.
The event will be sponsored by the Upshur County Crime Stoppers. The golf tournament will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Gilmer Country Club. The tournament will consist of four man teams and will be limited to the first 18 teams to register.
Corporate Alumni will have four sponsorships to choose from. For $250, as a 1st Down Sponsor, the package includes 2 teams and company recognition. For $150, as a 2nd Down Sponsor, the package includes 1 team and company recognition. For $75, as a 3rd Down Sponsor, the package includes company recognition. For $25, as a 4th Down Sponsor the package is for entry for 1 player and includes participation in the tournament only.
On Saturday night, March 22nd, 2014 at 6 pm there will be a “Buckeye, Where Our Story Began” dinner at the First United Methodist Church. The dinner will include former Gilmer NFL and NCAA players, along with members of all the State Championship teams, as well as coaches from those teams.
Corporate Sponsorship is also available for the Saturday night dinner. There will be a limit of 30 tables at the dinner. A $220 table/ticket sponsor receives a football with the option to have it signed at the dinner, company recognition and eight (8) event tickets. A $100 table sponsor receives a football with the option to have it signed at the dinner and company recognition. Individual tickets can be purchased for $20 each.
All sponsorships must be pre-paid by February 10, 2014. Registration forms are available from Upshur County Crime Stoppers. Sponsorship forms must be completed and returned with checks made payable to Upshur County Crime Stoppers, PO Box 344, Gilmer, TX 75644.
