SD Alum Joins Longview World of Wonders as Intern

Longview World of Wonders is excited to welcome Cherryl Tronzon aboard as an intern assisting the nonprofit children’s discovery center in the making.

Tronzon is a 2013 graduate of Longview High School’s International Baccalaureate program. She was active in numerous students groups in high school and volunteered with a number of community groups, including Arc of Gregg County, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Haverty’s Angel Tree and others.

Tronzon is taking on a number of projects for LongviewWOW, including graphics projects and program planning, as well as assisting with fundraising and marketing activities.

LongviewWOW is renovating its future home at 112 E. Tyler St. in downtown Longview, with plans to open in phases starting in 2014. The organization is continuing to operate as a “museum without walls” until that time, staging fun and educational events for children around the community.
