"Epic Truth" Youth Conference Comes to Tyler October 4 and 5
Two-day event helps East Texas teens understand the facts behind their faith
GARDEN VALLEY, Texas - The nation’s largest youth conference is coming to Tyler on October 4-5 bringing a message of the Epic Truth behind faith in Jesus.
Acquire The Fire's Epic Truth weekend will give answers to teens about who Jesus REALLY is, not just what culture says he is.
"It brings straightforward answers to today’s biggest challenges to faith in Jesus," said Kemtal Glasgow, who is the featured speaker at the Epic Truth conference. "It presents the rationality of the Gospel and the logic of belief in God – that He’s real, that He loves people, and that He has a special plan for every single person on this earth."
Recognizing that it’s become a trend to mock Christians for their faith, the Epic Truth conference is designed to stem the tide of millions of teens being mocked out of their faith, based on low-information criticism that are not grounded in facts.
A recent Barna study showed that of all people who say they have no religion whatsoever, 40 percent are Millenialls, people aged 18-30.
“Our desire is to see a generation of new Christian leaders who want to change the world raised up right here, in East Texas,” said Ron Luce, founder of Acquire The Fire.
Aquire The Fire’s “Epic Truth” weekend happens Friday, Oct. 4 - Saturday, Oct. 5 at the New Life Worship Center, 16535 US Hwy 69 S. Music is being performed by Christian artists Jimmy Needham, Tricia Brock and ATF Live.
