Drug, alcohol cases dominate indictments

Drug and alcohol offenses accounted for most of the indictments returned by the Upshur County Grand Jury when it met Thursday.

Twenty indictments were issued, with six of them sealed because the suspect had not been arrested yet. Three cases were no-billed.

Those named in unsealed indictments, the charges against them, and their bonds included:

• Katina Ann Maglott, 40, Gilmer, possession of a controlled substance—tetrahydrocannabinol, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $3,500.

• Brent Allen Kinnamon, 31, Gilmer, possession of tetrahydrocannabinol, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $3,500, and he remains in the Upshur County Jail on other charges.

• Daniel Lee English, 36, Big Sandy, driving while intoxicated with child passenger, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Tiffany Renee Sanders, AKA Tiffany Harp, 27, Gilmer, driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Chase Oneil Waller, 30, Gilmer, driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Angel G. Urquijo, 22, Longview, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $25,000, and he remains in the Upshur County Jail.

• Shawn Christopher Austin, 37, Gilmer, injury to a child, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $8,500, and he remains in the county jail.

• Henry Maynard Mandigo, 39, Gilmer, possession of cocaine, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $10,000, and he remains jailed on other charges.

• Brittany Rebecca Morin, 21, Gilmer, possession of methamphetamine, a state jail felony. bond was set at $10,000.

• Travis Dwight Nicholson, 39, Longivew, possession of methamphetamine, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $10,000, and he remains jailed on other charges.

• Raymond Tucker Mooty, 33, Gilmer, driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, a state jail felony. Bond was set at $7,500.

• Raymond Lee Cook, 67, gilmer, driving while intoxicated-subsequent offense, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $20,000, and he remains jailed on other charges.

• Caleb Seth Snow, 21, Big Sandy, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Marcus Shane Cochran, 20, Gilmer, evading arrest /detention with a vehicle with a deadly weapon, a third-degree felony. Bond was set at $10,000.

Sealed indictments included:

• Failure to register as a sex offender, a third-degree felony.

• Injury to a child, a third-degree felony.

• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

• Theft of property worth $1,500 to $20,000, a state jail felony.

• Debit card abuse, a state jail felony.

• Illegal dumping, a state jail felony.
