UT Tyler Longview University Center Summer 2013 Nursing Graduates Announced

Fifteen nursing students graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler Longview University Center, having successfully completed the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.

They are now prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nursing.

“We are very proud of these graduates,” said Dr. Helene Hakim, director of the College of Nursing for the UT Tyler Longview University Center. “The accelerated BSN track is designed for students who wish to pursue a bachelor of science degree in nursing in 16 months. These students have worked diligently and have successfully completed a challenging program. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

Applications are accepted once a year for the accelerated BSN program. To be considered, applicants must have already completed a bachelor’s degree. The deadline to be considered for this program is Sunday, Sept. 15.
