We have higher respect for those individuals who make their own decisions and actions. You and I should be more than “Yes men.” A person who, so to speak, jumps every time someone tells him to is certainly not his own man. All of us can benefit by giving careful consideration of what others have to say, but in the final analyzes we should make-up our own mind on any given matter.
Not just anyone is a natural leader. Some will always be followers and only do what others tell them to do. This is why many young people who ordinarily are well behaved get into trouble. They will let others lead them into mischievous activities which will end up committing a crime of stealing or some other ill-advised activity. They can easily be lead into trouble in matters which they wouldn’t think of being involved on their own.
