Texas Shakespeare Festival adds two shows; will have talent show Wednesday

Two additional performances of “Camelot” have been added to the Texas Shakespeare Festival’s schedule since the July 4 matinee was cut short due to a power outage.


The performances are set for 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, in Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore campus.


Also, a "Talent Show" is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, featuring the talents of the 28th TSF company.


Tickets for the talent show are $10 general admission and may be purchased in advance from the box office or at the door the night of the show. 


This year’s plays include:


·                     “The Comedy of Errors” by William Shakespeare

·                     “The Foreigner” by Larry Shue

·                     “The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare

·                     The musical “Camelot”; book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Frederick Loewe

·                     “The Enchanted Forest” by Jason Richards

·                     Children’s show, “The Enchanted Forest,” by Jason Richards


The 2013 TSF season will run through July 28.
