A SPECIAL VISITOR to the Vacation Bible School at Gilmer’s First United Methodist Church, George Sibo, the llama, and his handler, Karen Bonds, visit with one of the classes at the VBS. From left are Ben Fenlaw, Caylee Pritchett and Soccora Molinero, and behind her, sister Veronia Molinero, Reese Couture, Tessa Betterton and Jaydeen Owens. The Methodists hope to raise $150 to send to Heifer International, so a family in Bolivia or Peru can have their own llama to use as a beast of burden and a source for fibers for blankets, rugs, sweaters, and other items to use in the high mountains where llamas thrive.
