Green Expo features green sustainable living and building information, demos and experts
WHAT: The "Heart of Texas Green Expo," June 7-9, 2013 at the Bastrop Convention Center features speakers and panels/demonstrations on green sustainable living and building, including keynote speaker Betsy Rosenberg, an award winning national broadcast journalist and a green media trailblazer, a participant in the White House Women's Summit on climate and the environment, and nationally acclaimed Architect Peter Pfeiffer, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects with a life-long commitment to "mainstreaming green building in North America."
Friday is geared toward industry professionals and city/state government employees with topics including topics like the 2013 Legislative Action on Water and Environmental Regulation and What the future holds for Texas water. Saturday and Sunday are expected to be of interest more to families and home owners, with lots of entertainment and children's activities in addition to the green educational activities covering such topics as alternative energy, green building, conservation, organic gardening, aquaponics, sustainable farming and eco-friendly ranching, etc. For more information on 30+ speakers, exhibits, and entertainment see Green Expo
