Gladewater printer dies in one-car wreck

A Gladewater man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck Tuesday night.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Jayson Lee Wynn, 49, had left FM 2685 and was heading east on White Fir Road in Upshur County, travelling at a high rate of speed.

He lost control and the Nissan sports car he was driving overturned.

Wynn, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.

The accident occurred at about 10 p.m. Investigating officer was DPS Trooper Candace Strelow.

Wynn was president of D&W Printing and was involved in Gladewater civic activities.
