Jeff Ellington in recommending approval of all 15 proposed changes to the charter. Ellington spoke to the Gilmer Rotary Club Tuesday. Election day for the charter proposals and the Gilmer mayor’s race is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Gilmer High School. EARLY VOTING CONTINUES through Tuesday, May 7, at the Gilmer ISD administrative offices at Trinity and Warren Sts.
