UPSHUR GREGG Soil and Water Conservation District sponsored a Woodland Clinic held recently on the Elliott Dean farm near Gilmer. Robbie Clemens with the NRCS-USDA, Gilmer, was in charge. The clinic creates awareness and understanding of the value of properly managed woodlands and promotes appreciation of woodlands as a renewable resource. Schools participating included Harmony, Gilmer, Ore City, New Diana, Dangerfield, Pilot Point and Palmer FFA students.
