Every great grant has a needs statement, and data to back up the needs.  Finding all the substantiating data can be a time consuming and difficult part of the proposal development process.

In this hands-on session, presented by the US Census Bureau, you will learn to access and use:
  • Information on Governmental and Statistical Areas
  • Metropolitan and Non-Metropolitan Geography
  • Blocks, Block Groups, Census Tracts
  • Population Data
  • Census Quick Facts
  • Community and Neighborhood Profiles
  • Economic, Business and Industry Data

This is a full day, hands-on session with time in the computer lab for you to actually practice what you are learning.
