2013 Lindale Area Business Showcase Event to be held NEXT WEEK

General Public invited to Participate, Attend for Free on Thursday, March 7

Lindale, TX, March 1, 2013: Leading Lindale and surrounding area businesses will welcome

the public to the Lindale Area Business Showcase on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at First United

Methodist Church Lindale, Family Ministry Center. Doors will open to the public at 11:00a.m.,

and will remain open until 6:00p.m., when the Showcase will end with a $500.00 cash prize

drawing.

For 2013, the fourth year for this event, exhibit space has been increased, as have the number of

Leadership Sponsors. For 2013, Leadership Sponsors include Omega Home Health, Amanda

Froebe State Farm Insurance, BankTexas, Center for Implant and General Dentistry, Wood

County Electric Cooperative, Lindale Veterinary Clinic, Capstone College & Career Advising,

and RealEdge Real Estate-Lindale.

Constable Kenneth Bibby’s office will host a free Networking Lunch from 12:00-1:30p.m.,

serving Beth’s Casseroles, and Chicken Express Iced Tea. The Deli will provide free samples all

day. KNUE will serve as Master of Event Ceremonies for the day.

At 2:00p.m., Lindale Economic Development Corporation will present an informative workshop

regarding the recent and future growth of Lindale businesses, and Don Proudfoot of Tyler Small

Business Development Center, which serves Lindale, will host a workshop on “The Best

Business Approach” at 3:00p.m. Both workshops are free for all to attend. At 4:30p.m., local

clothing businesses will present a “Fashion Finale” down the red-carpeted center aisle.

The Showcase is open to the general public, and is free of charge. Everybody is welcome to

attend at any hour of the day. Door prizes will be awarded every hour, and many exhibiting

businesses will have individual prize drawings and product specials to extend to attendees.

Any adult attending throughout the day can enter to win a $500.00 grand prize of cash, with
