Tyler, TX...Two of the purposes of the Quilters Guild of East Texas are to preserve the heritage of quilting and to be a source of information and inspiration.  We try to achieve these goals through our community service projects, lectures, and displays of our quilts.

For the months of February and March 2013, we will have quilts hanging in the atrium of the Tyler Public Library and in display cases on the second floor.  The displays emphasize the impact that color makes in quilts.

The library display is open to the public whenever the library is open.  Please stop by and see what color combinations are your favorites.

If you visit the library and love quilts, then mark your calendar for the 32nd Tyler Quilt Show at Harvey Convention Center on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23.  It will be open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.  General Admission is $6.00, Seniors & Children $5.00.
