The chamber is celebrating 98 years of community service to Gilmer and Upshur County.
Deadline for purchasing tickets is Thursday, Feb. 7.
The banquet is scheduled for Feb. 14. Doors will open at 5:30 and serving begins at 6:15 p.m.
The program will start at 7 p.m.
If you have not purchased your tickets, they are $18 in advance, or if you want a table for eight the cost is $144.
The former sheriff of Smith County, J.B. Smith, (nationally known humorist) will be the main speaker.
Awards for Outstanding Citizen, Humanitarian of the Year, Unsung Hero, Top Hand and Educator of the Year will be presented.
“A sell-out crowd is expected, so hurry and get your ticket,” advises Joan Small, chamber executive director.
If any tickets remain, they will be sold for $20 at the door.
