“Serious inquiries only need apply, because we do background and driving records checks,” said a news release from the department. “You must be willing to train and be able to make a certain percentage of meetings and calls.”
The department meets on FM 1404, a short distance off Hwy. 155 in Pritchett, at 7 p.m. Thursdays. Those interested in applying should pick up an application at the fire station, or call 903-504-0547.
