FLASH MOB PARTY AT GILMER ELEMENTARY

Gilmer Elementary 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders were given the opportunity to complete an additional reading and math task for a week. All students who successfully completed both tasks were admitted into the Flash Mob Party. During the party, students were taught a dance by several teachers, then the students practiced the dance and performed the dance. An additional bonus was added to the party that the students had no idea was coming! Each one of their names were put into a drawing. The winners received Sonic gift cards. One very lucky winner received the grand prize…a brand new bicycle. We would like to thank Sonic for donating the gift cards. The donor of the bike would like to remain anonymous, but we are very thankful for everyone who helped. The winners are from left to right: (front row) Leslie Jones, Kaitlyn Wright, Isabel Meza, Phoenix Hart (back row) Alyson Wylie, Justin Denton, Celia Avincola, Madisyn Morton, Mateo Aguirre
