GHS Majorettes advance in competition

Courtesy Photo<br> THE GILMER HIGH SCHOOL Majorettes recently attended UIL in Spring Hill on Saturday, Nov. 10. The majorettes carried two group routines as well as 10 solos. Each group performed a 3-baton routine that included juggles, exchanges and advanced tricks. Soloists twirled with one, two and three batons. The line brought back seven ratings of a ‘1’ which will advance those on to state competition in May. Congratulations girls and good luck at state! The GHS Majorettes are under the direction of Blair Maxwell.
