Theatre Department will present ‘Amadeus’ from Nov. 28 through Dec. 2
The Kilgore College Theatre Department will perform the play “Amadeus” in Van Cliburn Auditorium on the Kilgore campus beginning Nov. 28.
The play is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, Nov. 28 through Dec. 1, with a matinee performance 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.
The play, directed by theatre instructor Kathy Barber and written by Peter Schaffer, is set in the 18th century and depicts the artistic rivalry between classical composer Antonio Salieri and musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
General admission tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for students and $4 for KC students with a student ID.
Late arrivals and children under the age of six will not be admitted.
The play does contain adult material and adult language, so it is recommended that no one attends under the age of 14. Children under the age of six and late arrivals will not be admitted.
The box office will open one hour prior to each performance.
Reserved tickets may be picked up at the Will Call table beginning one hour before curtain on the day of the performance.
