There was a large crowd at the Texas Crime Night Out held at the Pritchett

Community Center.  

Rick Woloszyn did a fantastic job of organizing the

event.  

Different booths were set up for adults and children.

Thumb drawing was well received as well as all the goody bags for everyone.

All eyes were on the EMS air ambulance helicopter when it landed.

“The well-trained police dog and his handler held a

great demonstration of an attack situation, which was a crowd pleaser,” Woloszyn said.

“We all enjoyed the music, as well as the hot dogs and drinks and visiting,” he said.

The Pritchett Volunteer Fire Dept. had all of their trucks and

equipment on display and had fire hats and badges for the children.

“Wewant to thank the many people that made this occasion such a success,” the deputy said.

Booths were provided by Crime Watch, Crime Stoppers, Women’s Center, East Texas Auto Theft Task Force,

East Mountain Police Department and a Texas Game Warden.

Upshur county sheriff’s office k-9 dog Chiva, along with her trainer, Deputy David Thompson, provided the crowd with an attack demonstration, and ETMC landed their helicopter to display.

Pritchett Volunteer Fire Dept. Chief bill Fell and his crew, the Community Center helpers and Rabbit prepared the grounds, building and clean up.

The Made Rite Company and Charles Glenn made the drink donations, and the Berka and Thomas families contributed money donations.
